In Japan, there are numerous doctors and medical professionals who have a clear or vague desire to work abroad, particularly in ASEAN countries. However, due to various constraints, not many have taken concrete steps toward this goal.
We aim to understand what these medical professionals think and how they want to act. We will take advice from doctors who have worked abroad and returned, as well as those currently engaged in medical activities overseas, to explore how we can realize these aspirations. Initially, we will create and manage a community for these doctors, and eventually for other medical professionals, to discuss and take action on healthcare in Asia.
Moreover, we plan to engage with local doctors in ASEAN countries who may collaborate with Japanese doctors in the future. We will prepare a community focused on organizing study groups and exchanges between Japanese and local doctors, with the goal of fostering active engagement and collaboration.
